Flying through the sky

This is the second of three ideas for cool rooftop experiences that NorthernLight has developed. Worldwide more and more people live in cities. But cities all over the world can look quite identical and boring: full of apartment buildings, shopping malls and offices. And what do all buildings have in common? Roofs! At NorthernLight we work on experience concepts to make rooftops come alive, to add vibrancy to the city heart. High rise experiences, interactive rooftop squares, corporate exhibitions, themed bars and restaurants. With the OverTheEdge swings on the A’DAM Tower and the interactive rooftop square for science museum NEMO we already implemented some great experiences, but we continue to come up with new ideas.

Who does not dream of flying? We propose to redesign the existing indoor skydive technology to fit to the top of a building. It will be an amazing experience for the active participants, but just as well a stunning and surprising view for visitors to the building roof and people in the city passing by. We are already talking to skydive technology experts to adjust their technology to fit our daring design. This experience can be a stand alone paid attraction, or an amazing added experience for visitors to corporate or retail buildings.
