Schiphol Airport, one of Europe’s largest airports, is like a modern city, where many different things take place at the same time. NorthernLight was asked to work on the potential of a visitor experience on Schiphol Airport’s outdoor panorama terrace. The goal was to increase commercial parameters using Schiphol’s attraction potential for tourists from all over the world.

Iconic Fokker aircraft
The historical Fokker 100 aircraft serves as an ionic installation on the panorama terrace. Around it, hands-on installations showcase the unexpected professions that can be found in and around Schiphol Airport, such as bird keepers, firemen and customs employees. In addition to these activities, the commercial concepts offer retail as well as food and beverage outlets.
