Discovery centre Novosibirsk

This destination attraction will have a 4500m2 footprint and will be the first of this scale in the region. The city of Novosibirsk is the third most populous city in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg and the most populous city in Asian Russia. It is a large industrial centre and is also home to the well known university of Russia, one of the keypartners in the transistion towards the knowledge economy.

The Expo centre attracts a wide range of visitors throughout the year who come for specific trade shows and events. The proposed addition of a Discovery Centre at this location will add a constant flow of leisure seeking visitors to this destination. This will not only change and enrich the character and atmosphere of the Expo centre but will have an effect on general operations and visitor flow in and around the Expo centre. The Expo centre is now able to offer informal educational services to schools and families and host professional workshops in it’s facilties that includes a full service theatre, temporary exhibition space, workshop- and seminar areas and showcase pavillions for local industries.
