Filmmuseum Eye now open!
Filmmuseum Eye was officially opened by Queen Beatrix on April 4 2012. NorthernLight is proud to have designed the collection browsing Pods, the Educational Space and the exhibit furniture for the Panorama Room
In the Panorama room visitors are surrounded from all sides by film clips and use seven control touch screens to thematically navigate through the EYE collection can.
The collection browsing Pods are mini-theaters with a three seater sofa and a high tech Cinemascope screen. At their leisure, visitors can to explore the collection. The Pods are inspired by the clean lines of the building, hard on the outside, soft on the inside. An ideal environment to cocoon and watch your favorite film clips with friends.
In the Educational space visitors can participate in workshops on film making: makeup, camera, animation, soundscape, editing, … The space has modular furniture and flexible room dividers to be able to work with two groups at thse same time.
