Cradle-to-cradle

Weizigt built a new cradle-to-cradle building. Not only the materials are ‘green’, but also the public utilities and technical means are sustainable. For example rainwater is used for flushing the toilets and daylight from the roof is transported to the lower floors.

Find out more with your RFID-ball

NorthernLight has been asked to explain the concept of cradle-to-cradle and the mplemented techniques in appealing interactives. By the use of magical RFID-balls children find their way in the parc, looking for animals and professors who can tell more about a green topic. They meet a chicken complaining how much space she has in her battery cage and Professor Thrift advising them how to  save energy in their daily usage. The results of the quests are shown in the Green Theater at the end of the tours. For adults, graphical panels deepen the information throughout the building,

NorthernLight has also been responsible for the design of the classroom-interiors, the canteen, the theater en the climate-zone. The interactives and the furnishing  have been produced cradle-to-cradle.
