Smart Technology exhibition in NEMO
NorthernLight designed the new “Smart Technology” exhibition in Amsterdam science centre NEMO. The exhibition shows the latest applications and future innovations of light. Themes are healthcare, design, art and fashion.
In the fashion area four light dresses are exposed; a dress worn by Lady Gaga, a dress worn by Fergie (Black Eyed Peas) and an OLED dress, made of organic LEDs.
The fourth dress is the NEMO LED dress, especially designed for this exhibition by Leon Klaassen Bos. His futuristic, luminous, glamour dress consists of silk, 2000 LEDs and a computer to controls the LEDs. In the exhibition visitors are able to change the colours of the 2000 LEDs.
