Sound, can you hear everything?

This September a new exhibition on the topic of sound will open in the Museon in the Hague. This exhibition is divided in two themes: decibel and frequency. Both of these themes have a very prominent position in the interior of the exhibition. They are explained with many different examples, from simple speech to an extravogent music concert. In addition, 10 exhibits explain different salient sound phenomena. In the centre of the exhibition there is a big cylindrical display that shows sound carriers  from the past century.
