Objective

Italian design company, Alessi, wanted a travelling exhibition to showcase new products and prototypes that are manufactured under the famous Alessi brand name.

Approach

NorthernLight created the Dream Factory, where visitors can become an Alessi designer themselves. The exhibition enables visitors to become acquainted with the creative and technological processes in the manufacture of many mass-produced articles available in Western society. Visitors are offered an opportunity to develop their own product, thereby becoming familiar with all stages involved in the design, manufacture and marketing of the product. In another game, visitors choose their favourite consumer product of the 20th century.
