Eneco WindLab teaching kids about energy

ENECO wanted to position itself clearly as the leader in renewable energy on the Dutch market. NorthernLight and partner Kubik, were asked to develop the Windlab experience, and plan the operations and educational packages.

The ENECO Windlab is an innovative learning experience serving both business clientele as well as school groups. It combines a visit to the wind park with a day out, seeing (and hearing) real technology.

Visitors build their own windmill, research the power of wind and take a look inside a real wind turbine to experience the power it generates. After successfully completing the program visitors receive a signed certificate, which states they are an official ‘wind expert’.

After its official opening the ENECO Windlab became not only a very popular destination for school excursions but also a great place for corporate meetings.
