NorthernLight has developed the concept for the Hotel App. The app transforms a normal smartphone into a “digital doorman” to help, support and entertain visitors both inside the hotel and in the city or rural region in which the hotel is located.
The Hotel App has been designed using a modular setup. This allows the user to adjust the exact functionality and design style according to the relevant hotel and location. Functionalities include ‘Intelligent Search’, ‘What’s On?’, ‘Room Service’, ‘Hotel Service’, ‘Business Service’, ‘Kids Games, the ‘My Stay Personal Agenda’ and the dedicated ‘Group Stay Info and Messaging Service’.

We designed the Rijksmuseum app around a simple principle: See More. With the Rijksmuseum app your smartphone is transformed into a magnifying glass, a set of binoculars, a time machine, an infrared scanner, a sketch pad, or a magic wand. The app works as a magic window, revealing remarkable stories and surprising details about the Rijksmuseum’s collection as well as its architecture. It’s 3D-audio compositions offers the experience of navigating through 3D space. And every tour offers the option to collect a digital souvenir.
