W5 is Ireland’s award winning science and discovery centre at Odyssey in Belfast. A world of wonder for eights and under awaits in START – the area specifically developed for our younger visitor. Become a car mechanic and customise a real Mini in the W5 Garage, make a splash at the water area with ball canons, pop into the music studio or make some noise with the sound exhibits. There’s also an area particularly suited for 5s and under. Design a butterfly or flower and explore your senses with the sounds and feel of nature in our woodland area, become an interior designer and decorate our little house just how you want it. Then create your own roads, villages, railways and take a journey round our model landscape.
