Cience Viva

The Ciencia Viva centre, celebrates an age of discovery.

He was the first to sail beyond Cape Bojador in 1434, the place considered the end of the world. Lagos was at least as important during the Age of Discoveryas Cape Canaveral was during the early years of space exploration.

Approach

The Ciencia Viva centre has been created as a 16th century workshop for navigators, explorers, astronomers, and mathematicians. In a set of hands-on outdoor and indoor exhibits, visitors experience a range of activities including navigating the 16th century sea, living on board a 16th century vessel, and 16th century experiments.
